We have booked over 350 tickets for pantomime’s in the local borough of Windsor & Maidenhead this Christmas. These tickets have been funded by the Kevin Cruise Foundation and distributed to over 15 Hospices, Charities, Foundations & Schools across three venues, Dick Whittington at Theatre Royal Windsor, Cinderella at Magnet Leisure Centre and Sleeping Beauty at Desborough Theatre, Maidenhead.
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is rich in culture and heritage and well served by multiple venues across the borough, such as Theatre Royal Windsor, Windsor Fire Station, The Desborough Theatre, Norden Farm Centre for the Arts and The Magnet Leisure Centre, as well as dozens of smaller venues across the borough, such as village and school halls.
However, it is also a borough of great diversity and, despite remarkable projects and efforts from our local arts centres, we have identified a need for further exposure to the performing arts, particularly for children and from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Kevin Cruise Foundation is a response to this need. Offering complimentary theatre tickets to children, families, carers, schools and charity volunteers.
